About Me

I am an independent Private Counsellor.

Other work undertaken by me has included working in specialist agencies, including:

CRUSE - Bereavement Care; MIND; and an Agency for Survivors of abuse

I have experience working with issues including anxiety and stress, depression, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem/confidence, anger, abuse, and relationship/marital difficulties.

I have a diploma in Integrative Counselling having trained in C.B.T., Humanistic, Psychodynamic, and Transpersonal, approaches.

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and work to the BACP code of practice. I regularly attend seminars and workshops as part of my continuous professional development.

It is my view that every client is unique and requires therapy tailored to their needs. My aim is to offer this using an integrated counselling approach.

I subscribe to the philosophy that the Therapeutic Relationship is paramount in facilitating client exploration of issues openly and freely.
